Making Middle Grades Work Assessments are to be given to selected 8th grade students on February 23rd and 24th. Students were notified yesterday.  Students were randomly selected to take the assessment.  The MMGW assessment provides SFMS with valuable information used to not only develop the school improvement plan but outstanding information about our school "climate", staffing issues and student readiness for college-preparatory high school courses and college or career readiness after high school.  For more information contact SFMS guidance counselors Lawanna Goodrich or Beth Childs.
